The Vikings continue to dominate on the gridiron, keeping Seeley-Swan scoreless until the fourth quarter in Friday’s 64-14 victory.

The Vikings were up 52-0 when Tyson Petticrew scored on a pick-six, intercepting Black Hawk quarterback Hunter Sokoloski’s pass.

Jared Doty rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns, including a 61-yard sprint to the endzone. Landers Smith scored twice while Garrett Vaughan ran 37 yards for a TD and Toby Odem punched into the endzone in the first quarter.

The Vikings (6-1, 6-0) are currently ranked third in the State for Class C football and will host Twin Bridges Friday at 7 p.m.

BUTTE — The Polson Pirates beat the Butte Central Maroons Friday night 43-7 in a non-conference game. Quarterback Tanner Wilson had a stellar night with 201 yards on 21 carries with three touchdowns. In the first half, the Pirates shut out the Maroons 28- 0, beginning with a 26- yard bullet from Wilson to wide receiver Matthew Rensvold, which was one of two touchdown passes from Wilson on the night. Rensvold earned nine tackles, causing two fumbles and grabbing one recovery. Linebacker Jonah Burke was close behind with eight tackles on the night. Cornerback Cadis Chowning contributed to the win with two interceptions.

The Pirates are 5-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play, and will host Columbia Falls at home, Friday Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
