ARLEE — Please be sure to vote in the upcoming election Nov. 8. Unless you vote, how can you complain about the outcomes of the election? Just drive, bike, or hike, but get to the polls. You’ll feel better afterwards. Millions of people all over the world would give their eye teeth to have such freedom to so freely and safely cast their ballots for candidates of their choice.

Our Fall Silent Auction and Quilt Raffle has begun, starring, along with other nice items, the lovely quilt donated to the center by Joyce Auer, Connie Wining, Margaret Bachmeier and Sherrie Crepeau. Drawing for the quilt and closing of the auction will be Dec. 17, during the Christmas dinner. That dinner will be held on the second Saturday of December because the third Saturday is Christmas Eve. Please mark your December calendar today and plan to attend.

A short business meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7.
