POLSON — Mission Valley Elks Hoop Shoot and Free Throw contest will be held Sunday, Dec. 18 at Linderman Gymnasium in Polson for boys and girls ages 8 t o 13 (as of April 1, 2017) in Polson, Ronan and surrounding areas.
Free registration and warm up starts at 10:30 a.m. and the cont est begins at 11 a.m. Boys and girls will each compete in three age categories: 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. Winners of each age group advance to the district contest in Pablo at the Joe McDonald Gymnasium.
There’s no cost to participate and no admission charged. Free chili and hotdogs will be served for each contestant and their families after the shoot at the Polson Elks club.
