POLSON — A new species of dinosaur has been discovered that had an extensive vocabulary; they’re calling it a Thesaurus.
Our supply of See’s Candy is going fast. There’s still some of each kind - nuts and chews, dark and assorted.
Senior bowling result for Dec. 20: High games were bowled by — Alice Johnson, a 213, and Bob Elsberry a 256. The same two had high series with 606 and 643, respectively. Alice had a 750 handicap series, which she shared with Fred Funke, 724.
We will be closed on Jan. 2.
Bingo will resume on Jan. 6.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Dec. 29: Shepherd’s pie
— Friday, Dec. 30: chicken noodle soup
— Monday, Jan. 2: closed
— Tuesday, Jan. 3: pork cutlets, rice and gravy
— Wednesday, Jan. 4: soft shell tacos
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.—12:30 p.m.
