POLSON — The first five days after the weekend are the hardest. And this week proved that - snow, ice and more of the above. Still, look at what the rest of the country is getting and realize that we live in a pretty special place. More people than usual came last Thursday for Wanda’s meatloaf during the ice and rain, proving that when the going gets tough the tough get going. Most people would walk a mile for her meatloaf (alternative facts). I’ve learned a lot from this new president. Exercise with our group every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30- 11:30 a.m. Don’t forget to pick up your See’s Candy while you’re here for $18 per box. Senior bowling results include Cris Alter and Don Young both with 260 high games. Cris and Larry Alter took high series with 660 and 689 respectively. Frani Basta had a 726 score and Larry Alter had 776 score for the bowling handicap series. The lunch menu for the coming week: — Thursday, Feb. 16: hamburger stroganoff, noodles — Friday, Feb. 17: hot turkey sandwich, whipped potatoes — Monday, Feb. 20: pizza, green salad — Tuesday, Feb. 21: Salisbury steak, whipped potatoes — Wednesday, Feb. 22: hash brown bake, link sausages, muffin All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
