POLSON — Some days you’re the top dog, some days you’re the hydrant.
The veterans’ representative will be here on Friday, March 3, from 10 a.m.-noon. Toenail trimming day is Wednesday, March 8.
Cris Alter’s injured elbow must be better; she was the “top dog” at bowling with a women’s high game of 250 and a series of 646. Jack Adamson’s high was 2 pins better. Larry Alter’s 685 was high for men’s series. Handicap series highs were Alice Johnson with 692 and Larry Lawson with 765.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, March 2: pork cutlets, rice and gravy
— Friday, March 3: breaded cod wedges
— Monday, March 6: chicken noodle soup
— Tuesday, March 7: sweet- 'n- sour meatballs, rice
— Wednesday, March 8: soft shell taco, baked beans
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
