Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases March 17-23:

Robert James Hamann Jr., 34, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of partner family member assault, causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury in partner/ family member, first offense. He was found guilty and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 364 days suspended. Hamann also pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of partner family member assault, causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury in partner/family member, second offense. He was found guilty and fined $300, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 363 days suspended and credit for 1 day.

Kenneth Hansoneric Bjorge, 48, pleaded no contest to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was fined $1000 and charged $85 in court costs.

Cory Michael Phillips, 28, pleaded not guilty to aggravated driving under the influence, second offense. He was found guilty and fined $5000 with $2500 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 350 days suspended.

Skeeter Lynn Metzger, 49, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. He was fined $2000 with $800 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 360 days suspended.

Brian Smart, 59, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

Tylar Jordan Parks, 26, pleaded not guilty to criminal trespass to property. He was found guilty and fined $50 and charged $85 in court costs.

Eli Vann Edwards, 35, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $450 with $300 suspended and charged $85 in court costs.

Rodney Churchhill Foster, 63, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for improper passing in no-passing zone.

Richard Wayne Snyder, 40, pleaded guilty to seatbelt violation and was fined $20. Synder also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was fined $550 with $300 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.

Blake Riley Davidson, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. He was fined $300 with $200 suspended and charged $85 in court costs.

Erica Isabella Costello, 21, forfeited $20 for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph.

Ingram Matthew James, 46, forfeited a $50 bond and was charged $35 in court costs.
