I mentioned last week how grateful I am for my helpers. That was before I stumbled and injured my knee. Now I am wearing a leg brace and those same people are coming forward and taking over for me, as I will be out of commission for some time to come.
Alice Johnson had the high women’s game in senior bowling on March 28, rolling a score of 267. Her handicap series was 773. Cris Alter had a 667 for women’s series. Jesse Barry rolled a high 264 and tied Bob Elsberry’s 645 for high series. Jesse also had the men’s high handicap series with 726.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, April 6: meatloaf, whipped potatoes
— Friday, April 7: sloppy Joes, tater tots
— Monday, April 10: hamburger gravy, noodles
— Tuesday, April 11: sweet and sour meatballs, rice
— Wednesday, April 12: taco salad, salsa and sour cream
All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
