Quist can relate to Montanans

My choice for Congress in the upcoming election is Rob Quist. I believe he is a good person, and shares my values and priorities. Any financial troubles he has had in the past makes him more human, and able to understand the issues faced by the majority of Montanans. Rob can relate to the average Montana resident.
Greg Gianforte, on the other hand, has been quoted as saying he doesn’t believe in retirement, citing that Noah was 600 years old when he built the ark. I would like to retire at some point, and it is essential to have social security and Medicare in place to help pay the bills. Gianforte has also made a stand against gay marriage, and did not want the city of Bozeman to pass an ordinance that would protect LGBT people from discrimination at work. He is also in favor of repealing Obamacare, which I have now, and hope to have until I turn 65 and am eligible for Medicare. Gianforte has so much money, (about $500 million net worth), that he doesn’t need the social programs that most of us rely on as we age. He doesn’t have to retire if he doesn’t want to, but he also doesn’t have to earn money to survive. He’s probably not a bad guy, but the bottom line for me is that I’m voting for Rob Quist.
