RONAN — Lillian Mary Pablo, 90, died peacefully on May 5, 2017, surrounded by her children. She was born near Malta, Montana, on Jan. 23, 1927, to Pete and Pearl Walchuk.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Tommy, Tony, and Jim Walchuk; and her son, Michael T. (Mickey) Pablo.
She is survived by two brothers, Leo (Mae) Walchuk of Helena, and Joe (Susan) Walchuk of Colorado; and her children, Marcia Pablo of Billings, Marlene Pablo of Missoula, and Dan (Traci) Pablo of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sean Cross, Jamie Cross, Bob Paro, Bill Paro, Lawrence Pablo, Thomas Pablo, and Nealy Ferrell; and great-granchildren, Thomas Cross, Kaelen Cross, Conner Cross, Emily Cross, Gage Lake, Corben Lake, and Michael Pablo as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather on Thursday, May 11, from 2- 7 p.m. at The Lake Funeral Home in Polson and the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 12, at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson where a luncheon will follow the Mass. Interment will take place at the Ronan Cemetery.
