They had three children, Melvina, Gary, and Kevin. After living in Thompson Falls for 60 years they moved to St. Ignatius in 2009 to be near their daughter.

Rose was a kind, loving, and giving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved sewing, crocheting, cooking and gardening. Many people received special gifts from her generosity.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 69 years, Ken; her daughter, Melvina (Dennis) Krantz; sons, Gary (Bunny) and Kevin; grandsons Timothy (Deanne) Krantz and Justin (Christy) Krantz; and great-granddaughters, Lelia and Josie Rosalia. She is also survived by brothers, Dan (Shirley) McLinden, Jim McLinden and Barney (Jo) McLinden; sister, Gloria (Gary) Thomas; sisters-in-law, Carol McLinden and Phyllis Tanner; and a brother-in-law, Darrel (Penny) Torgrimson and numerous nephews and nieces and their families.

Cremation has taken place and a service and celebration of her life will be on Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m., at the Whitepine Cemetery in Trout Creek, with a reception following at the Trout Creek Senior Citizens’ Center.
