Charlo High School athletes raised $1,751.64 during their fall 2016 Think Pink Fundraiser to benefit Lake County cancer patients. Volleyball and football players sold T-shirts, and held a raffle and a bake sale to raise the funds donated to Cheerful Heart, Inc., a local non-profit that provides services to county cancer patients.
This is the fifth year Charlo High School athletes have donated funds to Cheerful Heart. Volleyball and football players have raised more than $6,000 to help Cheerful Heart provide soup for the Polson Oncology Clinic, items for the Wigs, Hats, and Scarves Program, books for the Resource Library and funding for fuel expense when volunteers transport patients.
