News from Mission Valley Christian Academy

POLSON – The Mission Valley Christian Academy held its commencement exercises on Friday evening, May 19, at New Life Church in Polson. Four students from the class of 2017 received their diplomas after they presented slideshows and gave their senior speeches to parents, MVCA staff, neighbors and friends from around the Mission Valley. 

Alexis Maddy, daughter of Mike and Marlo Maddy is the class Valedictorian and plans to attend Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, to study business, finance and commerce. Alexis received the GCU Presidential Scholarship and an academic award for her ACT score of 27. 

Jayde Conrad, daughter of Gene and Julie Conrad is the class Salutatorian and will attend Ecola Bible College in Cannon Beach, Oregon, in the fall. Jayde plans to become a flight attendant after finishing her schooling. 

Kaitlyn Kackman, daughter of Ray and Joyce Kackman, received her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate this past year and plans to continue working in Polson Health and Rehabilitation Center.  

Dayton Conrad, son of Gene and Julie Conrad, will continue to install flooring in the Mission Valley as an independent contractor and hopes to attend welding school in the future. 

Mission Valley Christian Academy just became accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International and AdvancEd. The school just completed its 24th year of providing a Christ-centered quality education to students and families in the Mission Valley.
