Editor,
It has come to our attention that people believe the Montecahto Club has been posting political signs near the clubhouse. The Montecahto Club is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization with no political or religious affiliation. The property on which the political signs have been posted, just north of our clubhouse entrance, does not belong to the club. The posted political signs have nothing to do with our club.
Congratulations to Jenna Evertz, graduating Polson High School senior and winner of our annual scholarship. In addition to the scholarship, we send packages to the troops, volunteer at Soup’s On in Polson, and make our two-story clubhouse available for community use. We invite new members and welcome newcomers.
We hope you’ll come check out our rummage sale on Friday, June 23, from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Finley Point Fire Station (across from the Finley Point Grill).
Again, the Montecahto Club has no political affiliation. We are sorry for any misunderstanding.
