Iron Dog wrestling camp is June 19-21
ST. IGNATIUS – Arizona State and Dickinson State technicians will lead an eight-session wrestling camp June 19-21 at the St. Ignatius High School gym. The camp is open to grades K-12. Grades K-4 will not attend the third session each day. Cost of the camp is $35 and includes a camp T-shirt and 8 meals including pizza donated by Cornerstone Pizza on Monday evening. Beginner to advanced level techniques of folkstyle wrestling will be taught. Wrestling from top, bottom, and neutral positions will be covered; however there will be an emphasis on top wrestling and pinning combinations. Live wrestling will be a part of each session. There will be at least one dual at the end of session two and the evening session will be duals only. Grades K-4 wrestlers will not participate in the evening session. Wrestling clinic offered
CHARLO – A free wrestling clinic put on by Arizona State wrestlers will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 at the Charlo High School gym. All wrestlers are welcome. Arizona State wrestlers who’ll lead the clinic include: Jacen Petersen - Arizona State, Pac 12 Finalist, 2x undefeated MT State Champion; Jame Petersen – 4x MT state placer, NWCA All American, Mission High Assistant Coach; Kevin Radford - Arizona State, 2017 Dave Schultz Finalist; Jace Berkram - Arizona State, MT State Finalist 4x Placer.
