ARLEE – Arlee Warrior graduate and 6-foot guard standout Tyler Tanner signed a letter of intent to continue his education and basketball career at Dawson Community College in Glendive.
As a student, Tanner graduated with a 3.5 GPA and as a basketball player, Tanner finished his senior season shooting 52 percent from the field, averaging 19.5 points, 3.7 steals and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Tanner also helped lead Arlee, to their first ever boys’ Class C Basketball State Championship, with a 71- 67 victory over Manhattan Christian. In the championship game, Tanner scored 24 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and won MVP honors.
On Friday and Saturday, Tanner finished his prep career by playing in the Midland Roundtable Montana- Wyoming All-Star Basketball Series. Tanner scored 4 points in game one and 8 points in game two.
