ST. IGNATIUS – Senior Ran’Dee Charlo was Mission- Arlee-Charlo (MAC) Bulldog’s lone player to be named to the all-state and first-team all-conference 2017 roster.

Charlo recorded an outstanding year in the circle for MAC in which she booked 205 strikeouts while earning 18 wins.

Charlo’s 205 strike out season ranks her number ten in Montana State record books and she is tied for third in the record books for the most strike outs in a game with 18.

MAC, a third-place finisher at state, put two players on the all-conference second team. Kenzie Couture and Tomi Brazill made the squad for the Bulldogs.

A pair of Polson Lady Pirates, juniors Kaelyn Smith and Laurel Bitterman, also earned all-state recognition. This season, Smith stole a career high 42 bases and Bitterman had a strong performance at the plate for the Lady Pirates who finished fourth at the Class A state tournament. Senior Haley Fyant was joined by Smith and Bitterman on the first team all-conference list.

Rounding out the all-conference second team for the Lady Pirates are seniors Hannah Fryberger, Ashley Benson and Camas Renault

Junior Courtnee Clairmont represented the Ronan Maidens, who finished 4-20 on the season, with second team all-conference recognition.
