Mud run set for July 15
News from the Boys and Girls Club Let’s just get muddy.
The Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County presents the 4th annual Polson Mud Run.
On the Ides of July – that’s right, July 15 – join us at the Polson Fairgrounds for one of the toughest courses combining a challenging mix of climbing, kayaking, running and everything in between.
This has been described as a course that will test your endurance and your shampoo.
Participants ages six and older are welcome. Those under 18 are required to have parental consent.
The race begins at 9:30 a.m. Register at www.flatheadbgc.org. Questions may be directed to hope@ ronan.net.
‘Invasion of the Lake Snatchers’ presented at library

Polson, Mission students make Carroll College spring dean’s list
News from Carroll College HELENA – Tegan Bauer and Jaylin Kenney of Polson and Alyssa Young of St. Ignatius made Carroll College’s spring semester dean’s list. To be included on the dean’s list, a student must receive a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale and take at least 12 graded credits in a semester.
Correction
A list of Polson High School graduates in last week’s paper omitted the name of Abigail Ayers, although her name was listed among scholarship winners. The Valley Journal regrets the error.
