ST. IGNATIUS — If your goal in life is to own your own fireworks stand … you might be a redneck.

Quilt raffle tickets are still available at Valley Bank for $1  each or six for $5. All proceeds go to the Flathead Reservation and Lake County Boys and Girls Club. The winner will be announced on Sept. 15.

The food pantry is still looking for volunteers to work on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. If you are interested, please call 406-745-0057 for more information.

Our center will have a pancake breakfast on July 22 from 7-11 a.m., just before the Good ‘Ol Days parade. The cost is $6 per person.

Commodities will be here on July 18 and be ready for pick up after 2 p.m.

The foot clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, from 10 a.m.- noon. If you would like to make an appointment, please call the center at 406-745-4462.

The card party will be held on the second Tuesday evening of the month at 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome.

The quilters are in the center on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

The Neighborhood Watch group will meet on the third Tuesday evening of the month at 7 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.

Bingo is played after almost every lunch.

We are open every Tuesday and Friday for lunch at noon and on the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month for dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Our menu:               

Wednesday, July 5: evening meal of pulled pork at 5:30 p.m.

—  Friday, July 7: Korean beef at noon

—  Tuesday, July 11: taco bake at noon

—  Friday, July 14: birthday dinner of chicken at noon

—  Tuesday, July 18: tater-tot casserole at noon

Our menu is subject to change.

Meals can be delivered to qualified seniors and frozen meals are also available. If you are interested in meal deliveries, please call the center.

Our next board meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 11, at 10:30 a.m. and nutrition reports will be given.

Please remember that you do not have to be a senior citizen to join us for lunch or dinner because everyone is welcome at the St. Ignatius Senior Center.
