ST. IGNATIUS — The only thing you have to fear is fear itself … and spiders.
Quilt raffle tickets are still on sale at Valley Bank for $1 each or six for $5. All proceeds go to the Flathead Reservation Boys and Girls Club of Lake County. The winner will be announced on Sept. 15.
There will be a free community dinner served on Wednesday, July 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Senior Center. Everyone is welcome.
The Neighborhood Watch group will meet on the third Tuesday evening of the month at 7 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.
The card party will be held on the second Monday evening of the month at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
The quilters are in the center on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
Lunch is served every Tuesday and Friday at noon and a dinner is served on the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Menu:
— Friday, July 28: Hawaiian sliders at noon
— Tuesday, Aug. 1: fish at noon
— Wednesday, Aug. 2: evening meal of stuffed pasta with meat sauce at 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Aug. 4: chicken enchiladas at noon
— Tuesday, Aug. 8: pizza bake at noon
Our menu is subject to change.
We are still requesting bids on a 23’ gabled roof to be in installed on the south side of our building. This includes the cleanup of the old existing porch. The successful bidder must have an independent contractors license. Copies of the plans can be picked up at the center in the front entryway or you may request a copy by mail by calling 406-745-4462.
The food pantry is still looking for volunteers to work Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. If you are interested, call 406-745-0057.
You need not be a senior citizen to join us for lunch or dinner. Everyone is welcome.
