ST. IGNATIUS — One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.

We are still accepting bids on a 23’ gabled roof to be installed on the south side of our building. This includes the cleanup of the old existing porch. The successful bidder must have an independent contractors certificate.

Copies of the plans can be picked up at the center in the front entry way. To request a copy by mail, call the center at 406-745-4462.

The food pantry is still looking for volunteers to work Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are interested, please call 406-745-0057 for more information.

Quilt raffle tickets are still available at Valley Bank for $1 each or six for $5. All proceeds go to The Flathead Indian Reservation Boys and Girls Club of Lake County. The winner will be announced on Sept. 15.

Menu:

—  Wednesday, Aug. 2: evening meal of stuffed pasta with meat sauce at 5:30 p.m.

—  Friday, Aug 4: chicken enchiladas at noon

—  Tuesday Aug 8: pizza bake at noon

—  Friday Aug 11: Birthday dinner of chicken at noon

—  Tuesday Aug 15:  sandwiches at noon

Our menu is subject to change.

Meals can be delivered to qualified seniors. For more information, call the center.

Bingo is played after almost every lunch.

The quilters are in the center on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

The card party will be held on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome.

The Neighborhood Watch group will meet on the third Tuesday evening of the month at 7 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend. 

 Please remember that everyone is welcome at the St. Ignatius Senior Center. You do not have to be a senior citizen to join us for lunch or dinner.
