RONAN — Our air in the board meeting is heavy with smoke right now and we all need to say a prayer for all the firefighters out there on the line.
There are a few things going on this week at the Ronan Senior Center. On Monday, Aug. 7, the board will meet at 10 a.m.
Menu:
Our evening meal is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 10. There will be a wonderful chicken dinner served at 5:30 p.m. for $5.
The menu for the week:
— Wednesday, Aug. 2: hamburger gravy, vegetables, salad, dessert — Friday, Aug. 4: sloppy Joes, green beans, salad, dessert
— Monday, Aug. 7: ravioli with Italian sausage, bread, vegetables, salad, dessert
— Wednesday, Aug. 9: soup bar, sandwiches, salad, dessert
Again on Aug. 10 is another evening meal with a chicken dinner served at 5:30 p.m. All our lunch meals are served at noon.
I hope everyone got out to enjoy the Lake County Fair despite the heat.
On August 5 we will have a booth at the flea market. Come and check out all the goodies.
