ST. IGNATIUS — Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
Valley Bank is still selling quilt raffle tickets for $1 each or six for $5, all proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Lake County and the Flathead Indian Reservation. The winner will be announced on Sept 15.
We are still accepting bids for a 23’ gabled roof to be installed on the south side of our building. This project includes the cleanup of the old existing porch. The successful bidder must have an independent contractoras certificate. Bids can be picked up at the center in the front entryway or you may request one by mail by calling 406-745-4462.
The food pantry is still looking for volunteers to work on Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. If you are interested, call 406-745-0057.
The quilters are in the center on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
The Neighborhood Watch group will meet on the third Tuesday evening of each month at 7 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.
Menu:
— Friday, Aug. 11: birthday dinner of chicken at noon,
— Tuesday, Aug. 15: sandwiches at noon,
— Wednesday, Aug. 16: evening meal of roast beef at 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Aug. 18: beef stroganoff at noon
— Tuesday, Aug. 22: Shepherd’s pie at noon.
Our menu is subject to change.
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
Meals can be delivered to qualified seniors, if you would like more information, call the center.
The foot clinic will be here on Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m.- noon. call to make your appointment.
Our next board meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 10:30 a.m. Nutrition reports will be given.
We would like to thank everyone for the donations we received during Good Ol’ Days. We are thankful to live in such a wonderful community.
Please remember that you do not have to be a senior citizen to join us for lunch or dinner because everyone is welcome.
