POLSON — I am writing this while visiting in Minnesota. Our great-granddaughter is even more precious in person.
It would be a good idea at this time to know where your snow shovels are.
Ryan, the veterans’ representative, will be here on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the regular time of 10 a.m.-noon.
The AARP Safe Driving class will be held on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. with a break for lunch.
No scores were available to me for Tuesday’s senior bowling because I’m off acting like a retiree. Also, no bridge scores; same reason.
A Bailey Insurance representative will be at the center on Friday, Oct. 20, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Oct. 12: meatloaf, baked potato
— Friday, Oct. 13: beef tip gravy over noodles
— Monday, Oct. 16: Navy bean and ham soup, fish sandwich
— Tuesday, Oct. 17: enchilada casserole
— Wednesday, Oct. 18: hamburger steak, whipped potatoes
All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
