CHARLO — Eileen Mary Montgomery of Charlo passed away on Oct. 10, 2017.
Eileen was born on the family farm near Hamlet, Nebraska, to Webb and Ruth Colvin on March 2, 1937. She attended various schools in Washington and Montana graduating from Charlo in 1955. Shortly after high school she met and married (Alvin) Monty Montgomery. Monty’s employment with the Forest Service took them into Big Prairie. They went on to purchase the farm at Charlo where they resided the remainder of their lives.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Monty; her grandson, Brandon Montgomery; and her parents.
Eileen is survived by her children, Lee (Denise) Montgomery, Lynn (Denise) Montgomery, Steve (Teri) Montgomery, Susan (Monty) Werdin and Rebecca Montgomery; siblings, Leila Roberts, Lauretta Berg, and Dallas Colvin; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
