RONAN — Winter has blasted us. We have gotten our first taste of snow and all the driving hassles that come with it. Hope all have remained safe.
The bazaar will be at the senior center on Nov. 18. Come check it out and maybe fill some of your Christmas list.
There will be cards played on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. If you like to play cards come and join the fun.
There will be a few changes from normal in our menu this month as the center will be closed the Friday after Thanksgiving to give our cooks some family time.
Menu:
— Wednesday, Nov. 8: Polish dogs, sauerkraut, salads, dessert
— Thursday, Nov. 9: evening meal at 5:30 p.m. - roast pork, mashed potatoes, salads, dinner rolls dessert
— Friday, Nov: 10: cook’s surprise
— Monday, Nov. 13: meatloaf, potatoes, salad, bread and butter, dessert
— Wednesday, Nov. 15: taco bar with all the fixin’s, dessert
Our Thanksgiving Dinner with the trimmings will be on Monday, Nov. 20. Our monthly birthday dinner will be on Wednesday, Nov. 22, instead of the last Friday of the month. The menu will still be the girls’ delicious roast beef with the trimmings.
On Wednesday, Nov. 15, we will have the foot clinic. Hope everyone has a wonderful week and hope all remember in this time of Thanksgiving to count your blessings and remember from whence they come.
