ARLEE — The raffle drawing for the quilt is on Saturday, Nov. 11, during the Second Saturday Dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets for the quilt are $2 each, three for $5, and five for $10. Come view the quilt donated to our center by Arlee Quilters Joyce Auer, Connie Wining, Margaret Bockmier, and Sherry Crepeau. You will want to have your name in the drawing for this lovely quilt. Some day it could be someone’s heirloom. The silent auction will end that same evening. Final bids must be on the bid sheets by 6 p.m. We will call the winners shortly thereafter. You can pick up your item(s) Saturday evening or Monday, Wednesday or Friday the week of Nov. 13-17 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Take note that with this being Thanksgiving month, our senior center Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. We will be closed Nov. 23, 24, and 25. For this month only, dinner will be served on the third Saturday of the month, Nov. 18. Lunches are served at noon each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and a dinner is held at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Meals include a main dish, a salad, fruit, and a dessert, along with hot coffee, tea, milk and juice. Menus for Nov. 8-29 are: — Wednesday, Nov. 8: chicken Cordon Bleu — Friday, Nov. 10:  French dip sandwich — Saturday, Nov. 11:  Barbecue ribs, baked potatoes, coleslaw — Monday, Nov. 13: chili dog enchiladas — Wednesday, Nov. 15: taco soup, cheese quesadillas — Friday, Nov. 17:  meatloaf, chive potatoes — Saturday, Nov. 18:  Turkey and dressing, potatoes and gravy, yams, cranberries, fruit salad, pumpkin bars for dessert. This is our Arlee Senior Center Thanksgiving Dinner. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this traditional dinner. — Monday, Nov. 20: Salisbury steak with baked potato — Wednesday, Nov. 22:  Johnsonville smoked brats — Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24 and 25: We will be closed. — Monday, Nov. 27: hot turkey sandwiches — Wednesday, Nov. 29: chicken Parmesan and pasta salad Happy Thanksgiving to one and all and let us be grateful we live in “The Last Best Place,” Montana. Amen.
