The 2nd Annual Decorate the Bench Competition is complete, and the Polson Business Community would like to thank all 17 businesses, individuals, classes and organizations that participated. We would also like to thank ACE Hardware for donating the voting buckets, and Chip and Montana Sign and Banner for the printing on the buckets. We would also like to thank Marilyn at Polson Hallmark for hosting the awards ceremony on Oct. 28. We had over 400 votes, and the public chose Mrs. Simonich’s third grade class, with the theme Fall into a Good Book, as the first place winner. Second place went to the Hallmark Coffee Ladies with the theme The Old Cup Tree, and third place, Polson’s Cutting Edge, with Death By Hair. The benches were very creative and fun and we hope next year will be even better. Thank you again, and get ready for PBC’s winter and Christmas events happening soon.
