POLSON — Did you spend Black Friday shopping? When you’ve seen one shopping center you’ve seen a mall.
We are your source for See’s Candy. We have boxes of “assorted dark chocolate” and “nuts and chews.” They are $19 per box this year.
I hope your Thanksgiving was as great as mine. Once again we enjoyed the Thanksgiving Community Dinner here at our center. Heartfelt thanks to all of the helpers, cooks and volunteers who helped make it another great success. Also, thanks to all those who donated food.
Frani Basta had a good day at senior bowling, sweeping women’s high game, series and handicap series. Her high game was 197. I had a 241 high game only to have the honors snatched away by Jack Adamson’s 254. But I did take the high handicap series. Tim Basta’s 620 series was high.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Dec. 30: baked macaroni, jo-jos
— Friday, Dec. 1: spaghetti, garlic bread
— Monday, Dec. 4: vegetable beef soup, rolls
— Tuesday, Dec. 5: hot pork sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Wednesday, Dec. 6: Shepard’s pie, applesauce muffins
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
