News from Mission Valley Christian Academy

Mission Valley Christian Academy’s soccer team recently concluded a successful season with four wins, four ties, and seven losses. The 29-player team ranged from grades 6-12, with players from Mission Valley Christian Academy, home school and Polson Middle School. Only five players were upperclassmen. While on paper one may not consider their record a “winning season,” the fact is that the way the players joined together and played much older and larger teams - many of which were made up of mostly high school juniors and seniors - and defeated, played very close or tied most of them - made this a successful season without a doubt. The teamwork, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and soccer skills learned, coupled with the hard and tough play together as a team, made this season one to be proud of. Thanks to Head Coach Jess Kittle and assistant coaches MaKenzie Wegner and Spencer Kittle for all their coaching, encouragement, and fellowship, and thanks to all the parents, friends and family members that attended the games to cheer us on. Until next year, Go Sting!
