RONAN — We are excited to have Svein Neuman, of Northern Plains Resource Council, who will explain how his organization has been so effective in bringing together people with different points of view to find solutions that work for the community. After his presentation, we will invite participants to break into groups to learn more about (and practice) different approaches.

Join us for another interesting and informative evening on Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the Ronan Senior Citizen’s Center, 528 Main Street SW.

As usual, we are striving to be nonpartisan, and to bring different groups together, so it would be really good to find a friend who disagrees with you, and come together. Also, please share this information with interested people.

For more information call 406-745-3001 or email: missionvalleyrises@gmail.com.

Mission Valley Rises: Democracy Engaged! is a local, non-partisan, community-led group, committed to exploring issues that affect our community.

Help find lost dog

Help find Sophie, missing 4 months. Shih Tzu, reddish hair with four white paws and white muzzle. Last seen with pink collar and tags. Hair would be very matted and dirty. Very scared and frightened. Siting in Pablo. Do not chase. Send a photo, if possible. Report any siting – 239-565-0193 or 239-851-8100. Sophie is micro-chipped. Bring to vet or shelter for positive ID - $1,000 reward for safe return.

Correction

A story in the Dec. 13 issue about the sentencing of Daniel Rosa should have stated that he got a five-year sentence to the Montana State Prison with no time suspended. The Valley Journal regrets the error.
