Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Dec. 1-14:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Sam D. Barber, 40, fined $85; Kyle Johnston, 34, fined $200; Christopher Richard Clark, 45, fined $70; Jeffrey A. Badelt, 63, fined $85; Bryce William Lindesmith, 19, fined $20; Michael John Harbine, 80, fined $95; Robin Earlaine Lamar, 49, fined $55; Larry R. Conant, 73, fined $85; Lynn Marie Daily, 46, fined $20; James Leonard Stammers, 66, fined $20; Gerald Brian Anderson, 60, fined $20; Chloe Pearl McMahon, 22, fined $20; Robin G. Matthews, 63, fined $55.

Thomas David Rozinka, 77, pleaded guilty to partner or family member assault, causing bodily injury to partner or family member, first offense. He was fined $950 with $700 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 364 days suspended.

Keith Brett Cook, 71, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for improper passing in no-passing zone.

Andrew Henry Cox, 36, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of partner family member assault, causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury in partner/family member, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $300 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 365 days suspended and credited with 28 days.

Sharon Hayes Richardson, 75, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Caleb Joshua Steely, 37, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for violation of commission or department orders or rules.

Lee Harold Shamp, 33, pleaded guilty to violation of commission or department orders or rules and was fined $100 and charged $35 in court costs.

Jenny K. Baker, 35, pleaded not guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $1000, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $200, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended. Baker also pleaded guilty to the amended charge of careless driving. She was found guilty and fined $200, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended.

Jerry C. Harris, 18, pleaded guilty to theft-obtain or exerts unauthorized control over property-first offense. No fines or jail times were listed.
