Joanne Inez Ferris Mangels
POLSON — Joanne Inez Ferris Mangels, 76, of Polson, passed away on Aug. 4, 2012, of natural causes. Her husband, three children, and numerous grandchildren survive her.
Joanne was born in Los Angeles on Aug. 10,1935. She married Gilbert Mangels on Valentine’s Day 1965, and in 1984 they co-founded the Miracle of America Museum.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Polson, followed at 7:30 p.m. with a community remembrance and sharing at Miracle of America Museum on Memory Lane off Hwy. 93.
