POLSON — It’s rare to see a Chevy truck with both running lights lit. Even more rare is to see a grumpy, non-smiling face on our diners, exercisers or card players. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we still have See’s Candy available. The toenail clinic will be on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m.-noon. The AARP Safe Driving Class will be on Feb. 21. It begins at 9 a.m., breaks for lunch, and resumes after lunch. Our AARP tax preparers will start here on Thursday, Feb. 1, and every Monday and Thursday after that up until the tax deadline. Call 406-883-4735 to make an appointment. Cris Alter swept the high game, series and handicap series at senior bowling on Feb. 23. Don Young did the same thing in the men’s division. The lunch menu for the coming week: — Thursday, Feb. 1: oven stew, fresh rolls — Friday, Feb. 2: hot turkey sandwich, whipped potatoes — Monday, Feb. 5: goulash, French bread — Tuesday, Feb. 6: hot beef sandwich, cold style with fixin’s — Wednesday, Feb. 7: pork chops, apple stuffing All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Want to make a big difference with minimal effort? We need a person to help deliver hot meals. It amounts to an hour a couple times a week and the perks are your free lunch. We supply the car.
