Tyson Petticrew’s game-high 17 points led four players in double-figure scoring for the host Vikings who defeated county rival Two Eagle River 74-55 on Friday.

Nate Delaney scored 12 points, Garett Vaughan added 11 more and both Landers Smith and Toby Odom chipped in 10 points apiece for the Vikings.

Brendan McDonald scored an Eagles’ team high 15, while Brandon Larios added 14 points and Roberts netted 13 points.

The visiting Vikings outpaced Noxon 59-49 on Saturday. Tyson Petticrew scored a game-high 28 and Landers Smith scored 16 for the Vikings.

Malanya Carpentier led all Lady Eagle scorers with nine points.

The Lady Vikings picked up a District 14C road win on Saturday by defeating Noxon 49-31. Kaitlin Cox scored a game-high 11 points for Charlo.

The Chiefs used a 10-2 fourth quarter to send Saturday’s road game against Columbia Falls into overtime. Unfortunately, Columbia Falls prevailed 56-48 over the Chiefs. 

Zeke Misa scored a game-high 19 points and Anthony Camel added another 14 points for the Chiefs.

The Maidens dropped a game on the road 68-41 to Columbia Falls on Saturday. Jaelynn Askan paced the Maidens with 11 Points.

 

Wrestling

Polson wrestling defeated Columbia Falls 39-30 and Libby/Troy 41-25 in a Northwest A conference wrestling dual at Columbia Falls High School on Jan. 23.

On Friday, the Pirates finished up their 2017-18 regular season with back-to-back dual wins against Browning 45-30 and Whitefish 63-6 in Whitefish.
