POLSON — Enjoy an evening of local entertainment while helping raise funds to assist folks in Lake County who are experiencing tough times. Mark the calendar for 7 p.m. on March 9 to attend the Mission Valley Has Talent competition at the Polson High School Auditorium.
Twelve finalists will vie for significant prizes: first place - $500, second place - $300, and third place - $200. Local sponsors are underwriting the cost of prizes for the winners.
Entrance fees are $10 for adults and $5 for students. In an effort to ensure attendance, folks can bring two cans of food for local food pantries.
This event is a fundraiser for the Helping Hands Fund, a non-profit ministry of the Mission Valley Ministerial Association, formerly the Polson Ministerial Association. Since 2004 Helping Hands Fund has provided emergency assistance to county residents, as well as to those traveling through who find themselves in need.
