POLSON — I went around the house resetting all the clocks and discovered that, somehow, my bathroom scale had been set ahead also. My new year’s resolution had been to lose 10 pounds; only fifteen to go.
Our AARP tax preparers will be here every Monday and Thursday until taxes are due. Call 406-883-4735 to make an appointment.
On March 20, the veterans’ representative will be here from 10 a.m.-noon. Also on March 20, commodities will be sorted and packaged. Pick them up after 1 p.m.
Senior bowling results for March 6 had Cris Alter’s 255 game and 698 series as high scores for women. Jim Funke’s 698 game and Tim Basta’s 587 series were high for the men. Fran Basta had the high handicap series for women and Walter Reznicek had the high series for men.
The lunch menu:
— Thursday, March 15: sausage gravy biscuits
— Friday, March 16: corned beef cabbage
— Monday, March 19: burger mac soup, corn bread muffins
— Tuesday, March 20: pot pie, biscuit
— Wednesday, March 21: baked chicken, rice, gravy
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
