LAKE COUNTY — Draft 3 of the Lake County Growth Policy rewrite is now available for review on the project website: https://www.planlakecounty.com/ Please look for the link to draft three under the documents section. Public comments sent to Lake County about density over the past month also have a link next to the Draft 3 Growth Policy link.
Please note that the title of Appendix C of the Draft 3 Growth Policy document should not include the term “regulations” – there was an editing issue when it was published – Appendix C would not be regulations as suggested by the title.
The public hearings are March 13 and 14 – please review the legal notices thoroughly. Here’s the schedule:
— Tuesday, March 13: At 2 p.m. in the large conference room of the Lake County Courthouse: Board of Lake County Commissioners’ public hearing on the proposed repeal of the Density Map and Regulations as county zoning.
— Tuesday, March 13: At 6 p.m. in the Polson City Hall Council Chambers at Polson City Hall: Polson City-County Planning Board’s public hearing on the proposed Lake County Growth Policy, third draft, March 2018, version.
— Wednesday, March 14: At 7 p.m. in the large conference room of the Lake County Courthouse: Lake County Planning Board’s public hearing on the proposed Lake County Growth Policy, third draft, March 2018, version.
