Invasive mussels in Flathead Lake are not inevitable, but it will take vigilance and a community effort to protect our watershed. Join us in our mussel walk to protect Flathead Lake and watershed. Flathead Valley students and community members will learn mussel Identification; growth and infestation; mussel prevention and detection; how to inspect with success; how to clean, dry and drain; get a close look at native shoreline species and end the day with a shoreline mussel walk.
