Stephanie Standen
SPOKANE, WASHINGTON — Stephanie Ann Pedersen Standen, beloved daughter, mother and wife, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the age of 79 in Spokane, Washington. She was born on Nov. 20, 1938, in Reno, Nevada. She grew up in Ronan, where she completed her high school education and was attending the University of Montana when she married Richard E. Standen on Dec. 14, 1961. They lived in Ronan before divorcing in 1987. She then lived in the St. Paul, Minnesota, area for many years.
Stephanie was a strong and caring woman who delighted in bowling, winning many trophies over the course of her life. Stephanie was predeceased in death by her parents, Anna Neigh Pedersen and Peder Christian Pedersen. Stephanie is mourned by her two children, Wendy and Wesley and cousin Kitty Pedersen of Polson.
The internment of her ashes will be with her parents at Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell in June.
