RONAN — Well we are halfway through another month; my how time flies.
On Wednesday, May 16, the foot clinic takes place at 10 a.m. The hearing aid lady will be here if you need your hearing aids cleaned. Arts and crafts activities take place after lunch. If you have a craft you are working on and would like to come and join the ladies, bring your project and come to the center after lunch.
The center will be closed on May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. Cards will be played at the center on May 21 at 7 p.m. If you would like to come and join in, the players would be glad to have you.
Menu:
— Wednesday, May 16: spaghetti, rolls, salad, dessert
— Friday, May 18: Oriental chicken, rice, veggies, salad, and dessert
— Monday, May 21: salad bar, veggies, rolls, dessert
— Wednesday, May 23: chicken tortellini, French bread, veggies, salad, dessert
We have the chance to honor our veterans on Memorial Day, May 28 and also on Armed Forces Day, May 19. If you appreciate your freedom thank a veteran for the many sacrifices they have made to protect it.
We all need to keep the people of Hawaii in our thoughts and prayers.
