Polson High students receive scholarships from Montana Wilderness Association

NORTHWEST MONTANA — After receiving 33 entries, Montana Wilderness Association is proud to award three $500 first-place scholarships, and three $250 runner-up awards. The awards recognized a first and second place winner from Sanders, Lake and Lincoln Counties.
A first place scholarship was awarded to Laurel Bitterman of Polson High School, and a second place scholarship to Russell Smith of Polson High School. With so many fine and dedicated young people, the board faced a difficult decision and wishes the best to all applicants.
