Polson for June 6, 2018
POLSON — The real art of conversation is to not only say the right thing at the right time but to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
My exercise program suggests wearing loose, comfortable clothing. If I had any, I wouldn’t be doing this stupid exercise program. Maybe I should consider joining the exercisers here at the senior center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They seem to be a happy bunch.
The toenail clinic will be here on Wednesday, June 13, from 10 a.m.-noon.
Reserve your place for the AARP Safe Driving class on Tuesday, June 19. Clara has been teaching this course for quite some time now. In fact, she has taught about 110 classes for a total of over 1,510 students, more than any instructor in Montana. (And that’s not counting classes she has taught in Arizona.) Well done, Clara.
The lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, June 7: chop suey, rice, egg rolls
— Friday, June 8: enchiladas, refried beans
— Monday, June 11: beef barley soup, 5-cup salad
— Tuesday, June 12: pork chops, whipped potatoes
