Polson School District announces Summer Food Service Program

POLSON — The Summer Food Service Program is a U.S. Department of Agriculture Child Nutrition Program that provides free, nutritious meals to children when school is not in session. The Cherry Valley meals will run from June 11 to Aug. 3, 2018. Cherry Valley Elementary School, 107 Eighth Ave. W, will serve breakfast from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m. CSKT Early Childhood Services, 37181 Turtle Lake Loop, will serve lunch from June 18-Aug. 3, from 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, these institutions are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
Pet food donations requested
RONAN — The Bread Basket in Ronan is now having a Pet Food Pantry for families and individuals who own pets that need food. If you qualify for the Bread Basket, your animal qualifies, too. The Ronan Bread Basket Pet Pantry is seeking donations of dog and cat food at this time. They are open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 10 Sixth Ave. SW.
