News from the Salish Kootenai College

PABLO – The Salish Kootenai College Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Delaney as the organization’s Executive Director. Salish Kootenai College Foundation is the non-profit fundraising entity for the college, dedicated to supporting SKC with their efforts to empower students to improve their lives, families and communities through research, leadership, service and the perpetuation of cultures of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation.

Delaney began her employment with the SKC Foundation in the spring of 2012 and has served as the SKC Foundation’s Development Director for the last two years. Before moving to Polson, Delaney and her family lived in Soldotna, Alaska for 37 years. She has over 30 years of management and administrative experience and worked 22 years as the assistant executive director for the Cook Inlet Regional Citizens Advisory Council. She looks forward to serving as the new Executive Director and continuing to support the mission of Salish Kootenai College Foundation.

Please join the Salish Kootenai College Foundation staff as we welcome Delaney to her new position with an open house on Monday, June 18th, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the SKC Foundation office in the Agnes Kenmille Building on the beautiful Salish Kootenai College Campus in Pablo.
