RONAN — Well, there are two indications that summer is here, first the traffic and second the smoke in the air. We are fortunate so far not to have any fires around close, but the smoke from the other fires still drifts in.
It is hard to believe we are already into August. The kids will soon be starting back to school. I hope they have all had a chance to enjoy some of the festivities in the area this last month.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Wednesday, Aug. 1: pizza, salads, dessert
— Friday, Aug. 3: barbecue ribs, mac and cheese, veggies, bread, dessert
— Monday, Aug. 6: Goulash, salads, bread, veggies, dessert
— Wednesday, Aug. 8: Shepherd’s pie, salads, sides, dessert
— Thursday, Aug. 9: evening meal at 5 p.m. – turkey, dressing, vegetable, salads, dessert
If you are looking for an economical place to have a good meal stop in and join us on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You do not have to be a senior citizen to join us, you only have to be hungry and looking for a good nutritious meal. Lunch is served at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
