News from the Envision Polson Beautification Committee

POLSON – The Beautification Committee of the Greater Polson Foundation has announced the winners of the 2018 Polson in Bloom Contest. The contest is meant to promote attractive curb views throughout the Polson area. Judging is not an easy task as there are many attractive yards of different sizes and styles all deserving recognition. Anyone who does something is a winner. Some exceptional gardens or floral displays were nominated and judged. (Full contest results are listed on the next page.)

 

Business winners: 

First place:  South Shore Green House.  Hwy. 35 Kathy Shore and Kari Wise.

Second place:  Bella Vista Beauty Salon.  205 4th Ave.  Jaye mcdonald.

Third place:  Polson Animal Clinic.  714 7th Ave. W.  Lowell Tyler and Toni Wock.

 

Private Residence Winners:

First place:  Cherie and Bruce Gerlach.  33953 Fox Road.

Second place:  Mark and Dana Johnston.  #1 Second St. E.

Third Place:  Jim and Joanne Simpson.  122 Long Lake Drive.

 

Judges Choice:

Arlene McEnaney.  2012 Woodbine Way.

 

People with energy and ideas are welcome to join the Beautification Committee. Future contests need nominations of deserving gardens and judges. Community input is welcome.
