RONAN — There are probably a lot of people experiencing problems from all of the smoke in the air. I know my sinuses are driving me crazy and my eyes are burning whenever I am outside. Please take care and hopefully one of these days we will get our air quality back again. I think about our firefighters and how much rougher it is for them up on the front lines; they deserve our thanks for all they do to keep us safe.
The Ronan Senior Center will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, in observance of Labor Day.
The monthly board meeting will be held the following Monday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m.
The monthly birthday dinner will be held on Friday, Aug. 31.
There are crafts on Wednesdays following lunch. If you have a craft you are working on bring it in and join the ladies for crafting and visiting.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Wednesday, Aug, 29: orange chicken, rice, salads, dessert
— Friday, Aug. 31: birthday dinner - roast beef, potatoes, green beans, salads, rolls, dessert
Meals are served Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon.
You don’t have to be a senior citizen to come and enjoy a good meal and wonderful fellowship. If you are looking for an economical meal with good company come and join us. Meals are served with, coffee, milk, and juice. Call before 10 a.m. to request or cancel home delivered or pick-up meals.
