Editor,

I have now attended three public events at which Kathleen Williams was the featured speaker. She enthusiastically and openly meets with Montanans to discuss problems that affect us all, while her opponent, Greg Gianforte, is seldom seen by the general public. Big money is what he pays attention to, and big money plays the tune to which he dances.

Williams, by contrast, is a much-needed breath of fresh air. As a member of Congress, she will truly represent all Montanans, not just the wealthiest among us.

Kathleen Williams doesn’t subscribe to the belief that the earth is only 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs were on the ark with Noah but Greg Gianforte does and has stated such. Would he allow such unfounded ideas to influence his public policy?

Williams believes in education and proven, science-based approaches to solving problems. When it comes to women’s health, Kathleen Williams actually knows what the words mean. Gianforte is beyond out of touch.

In my 75 years, I’ve never seen an election that was more important than the one in a few weeks. Fellow citizens, please vote, and please cast your vote for Kathleen Williams for U.S. House.
