POLSON — Thank goodness the political ads are over. Now we can get back to learning about the latest drugs to beg our doctors for.

Commodities will be sorted and bagged on Nov. 20 and they can be picked up after 1 p.m.

If you’re into playing cards, check out our pinochle and bridge groups. Call 406-883-4735 for more information.

The exercise group meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10-11 a.m. Get fit, get toned, make a preemptive attack at the few extra pounds you may pack on at our annual Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 22. The dinner is free and open to the public.

Tim Basta swept the senior bowling high game, series, and handicap series with scores of 263, 734 and 818. I thought I was doing fairly well until I looked over at his scores. Cris Alter’s high game of 254 and series of 619 wasn’t too shabby either. But Liz King’s 736 handicap series was high. Vivian Ross had a 735 handicap series. I hope I can bowl like that when I’m just shy of 90. I mentioned once before that you don’t want to be her opponent. Guess what? Last week I was that unlucky person. Guess what? She helped hand our team a whupping.

The menu for the coming week is:

—  Thursday, Nov. 15: corn dogs, baked beans

 —  Friday, Nov. 16: roasted turkey breast, whipped potatoes

—   Monday, Nov. 19: sloppy Joes, tater tots

—   Tuesday, Nov. 20: oven beef stew, homemade rolls

 —  Wednesday, Nov. 21: hamburger gravy, biscuits

 Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Vegetables and a dessert are included with your meals.
